New BlackBerry Curve Models Coming This Month!

Research in Motion, the maker of the popular BlackBerry line of smartphones, has announced the latest additions to its product lineup: The Curve 9350, Curve 9360, and Curve 9370. The new devices will run BlackBerry 7, the company’s latest mobile operating system, and become available in September.

The smartphones will offer GPS and Wi-Fi support, a 5MP camera (with flash and video recording capabilities), and a MicrosSD/SDHS slot with support for memory cards up to 32 GB.

Android Captures Nearly 50% of Global Smartphone Market


Google Android captured 48% of the smartphone market in Q2 of 2011, hitting an all-time high, according to a report by market research firm Canalys.
The platform has been making big strides during the past year, overtaking Symbian in Q4 of 2010 to become the top smartphone platform, representing a 32.9% market share at that time.
